Our Story
Gotham Cricket Club ("Gotham CC") is a 501(c)(3) registered not-for-profit, New York City-based cricket club founded by cricket enthusiasts across the tri-state area in February of 2023. The founding members of Gotham CC bring to bear 10+ years of collective experience competing with and against each other across a variety of cricket leagues and exhibition fixtures in the New York and New Jersey area.
Our Mission: To build a diverse, inclusive cricket community in New York City that welcomes players of all skill levels and backgrounds, united by a passion for the great game of cricket.
Gotham CC's membership base is one of the most robust in the region, built with the support of ~75+ active members that hail from all corners of the world and all walks of life. Our roster is comprised of both professional and amateur cricketers with the only commonality being an undying love for the great game of cricket.

What We Do
Our club fields numerous teams which compete across multiple red-ball and white-ball cricket leagues during the season, and also schedule friendly matches of a more social nature throughout the year. We welcome new members with all levels of cricketing experience – from seasoned professionals to enthusiastic beginners.
Off the cricket field, Gotham CC boasts a packed social calendar with happy hours and team events throughout the year where members, their families and friends have the opportunity to mix and mingle in a fun atmosphere.

2023 - Inaugural Season
Our debut season marked an exciting entry into the competitive cricket scene. Gotham CC participated in three major leagues, establishing ourselves as a competitive force in the tri-state area.
League Participation:
- Millennium Cricket League (New Jersey)
- Commonwealth Cricket League (New York)
- New York National Cricket League (NYNCL)
Highlights & Achievements:
MCL Division A Champions - Won the Millennium Cricket League Division A Championship- Quarter Finals - Commonwealth Cricket League Premier Division
- Successfully fielded multiple teams across different formats
- Built a strong foundation with 75+ active members
- Completed maiden tour to Miami in March 2023
- Established club traditions and team culture

Building on our successful inaugural season, 2024 saw Gotham CC expand our competitive presence and achieve significant milestones across multiple leagues and formats.
